This course will provide participants with a critical understanding the impacts, insights and prevention of Real Estate Fraud in both the investigative body and private sector. This course will be open to guests in the real estate industry to help protect and prevent real estate transaction fraud with their clients.

Speaker: Traci Dowd, Special Agent CBI

Returning ACFE speaker (from NoCo and Denver Chapter)

Traci Dowd is the Special Agent in Charge of the Economic Crimes Unit with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. She joined Law Enforcement over 14 years ago, transitioning from a career in the mortgage and real estate industries. With a degree in accounting and an accreditation as a Certified Fraud Examiner, she specializes in cases involving money laundering, organized crime, embezzlement, and business identity theft. Traci is passionate about combating wire fraud and economic crime through persistent outreach and education. She is also a motorsports enthusiast, a champion amateur race car driver, and a motorcycle RiderCoach.

Membership dues

Renewals begin on January 01, 2026 for the upcoming year. Members who renew their membership with registration for February training will be able to use a registration code to receive early bird pricing plus $10 off event registration. Guests who join our chapter at the time of registration will receive membership early bird pricing plus $10 off of event registration.
